Help the Community

There are so many times we all want to help meet people's needs, but then come up against this wall, and wonder who needs help?

So, the idea is that you, me, anyone can post a blog about a need that needs to be met in the community.  The information you need to include is:

• The need of a person, family or group of people.  (DO NOT post their name)
• Specifics about what they need
• A time frame of when the need could hopefully be met
• Your email 

Then, as people feel led, they can read different blogs and come in contact with others to help share our possessions and live out Christ's vision of community.  Once the need has been met you can post a comment to the specific blog, letting others know it was met and even possibly share a testimony about it.  

Overall, please try to contact one another through E-MAIL, and post comments on the site as needs arise and are met.

Introduction

As many of you know I am  now an at home mommy and loving it.  Day by day things get easier and open up more time for me to work for God's Kingdom.  Now, the question is, God what do you want me to do now that you have provided for me to stay home?  I have been praying for awhile now and feel God putting this on my heart. 

In Acts Ch. 4:32 it says "All the believers were one in heart and mind.  No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had."  How amazing would it be if we could have a community like this too?  Where we could feel that our possessions were not our own, but God's and help others who are need.

I think the way our society functions today a blog would be the perfect way to start the beginnings of a community like this.  If you are interested in connecting with others and meeting people's needs please continue on and read the blog "Help the Community."
